Changing Eating Habits is Time Consuming

Since we took off all day yesterday to do some hiking and exploring, I had a lot of catching up to do today. My kids have school tomorrow, so the laundry absolutely has to be done. I also needed to hem 4 pants for my eldest. I really needed to start listing some of my estate finds on eBay. I can no longer keep them stuffed away in various closets. I also needed to put away some of my projects. ( I lay things out and move them around to figure out how to create new recycled art pieces). The house needed some attention as well.

I was so busy today that the only reminder I had that it was time to eat was my growling stomach. Of course the kids ask me for food every 2 hours. They're request for food has no bearing on when I'm supposed to eat. They're like baby birds, always hungry. I ate a light breakfast because by the time I remembered the fruit I set out, it was past lunch time. I ate my breakfast fruit for lunch. I ate my lunch in a hurry and was hungry 2 hours later, so I had a snack. At dinner time, I hadn't had time to figure out the nutrient value in pesto, so I ate a small portion with a large salad.

I'm hungry. It's now too close to my bedtime to eat anything else. I don't eat within 2 hours of my bedtime. I just caught up with my food log and approximated the values for the pesto I ate. I'm just now writing my journal entry.

I'm tired. I'm hungry. I have another load of laundry to do because my family members "forgot" to put some of their dirty clothes in the laundry room...and my house is still a mess....BIG SIGH!
